Online Safety

Online Safety at Riverview Infant School

Online Safety is an important element of Safeguarding and is an important issue for Riverview Infant School. We aim to teach children how to use technology and the internet safely and what to do if they notice anything unusual or upsetting in an age-appropriate way. We hope these materials and links will be of use to you in supporting us in keeping your child safe online.

Be smart on the internet

We want to make sure our parents and families are aware of the latest threats to our children’s online safety. Risks are always emerging, in different forms from online games to social media, so National Online Safety (NOS) will provide us with weekly updates, which we will send out to parents each week.

Please see our Child Protection Policy for more information about Online Safety.

If you have any concerns or questions regarding online safety or want to learn more about protecting yourself or your children, please speak to a member of the school office who will pass on your message to one of our DSLs (Designated Safeguarding Leads).
